my-french-house.com gives Leeds a thrilling Petanque Final
my-french-house.com sponsored the prestigious Petanque Tournament which took place outside the HSBC building in Leeds.
The final came after 48 teams began the competition in May and battled it out ever since for the highly coveted Colliers Cup which was presented to the winners by the Lord Mayor of Leeds.
my-french-house.com staff provided the competitors with a selection of fine French wines, cheeses, meats and baguettes as refreshment after the trophy presentation.
Proceeds raised from the event went to MacMillan Cancer Relief in order to help fund an additional specialist MacMillan nurse to be based in the Teenage Cancer Unit at St James’s Hospital.
Patrick Joseph, Director of my-french-house.com, said: “It’s been "fantastique" that we’ve been able to enjoy a fun, French, outdoor sport during the warmer months whilst raising almost £900 for charity. We'll definitely try to repeat our involvement in the event next year”.
