The company, which is run from convenient and spacious premises close to the centre of Harrogate, was set up in 1987 by Barbara Coultas, a linguist with wide teaching and interpreting experience. She has also worked in industry; after graduating with first-class Honours in French from University College London, she gained a post at Courtaulds, spending time in Coventry and London. She started her teaching career in 1974 and has taught extensively, at all levels and with every age group.

Specialising in language services for business executives We offer flexible courses in all languages throughout the country. Our personnel are highly experienced and qualified. All courses are supervised by the Director of Studies, Author of "Teach Yourself Business French". We translate all languages, from and into English, using specialist translators working into their native languages. Our language teachers also provide examination coaching for schoolchildren. We teach Business English to overseas executives and their families. Our interpreters can speak to your clients at vital trade exhibitions, meetings or on the telephone.
