The Harrogate Plastic Bag free Campaign consists of folk from the whole Harrogate District who are concerned about the local environment and is a campaign group of Harrogate's Action for the Environment Group (A4E)

What We Want to do

 

• To work with Harrogate District residents, traders, visitors to the district and with other partners to inform people of the problem with plastic bags.
• To promote practical and environmentally friendly alternatives.
• To promote the district and its traders as a plastic bag free area.
• To celebrate the district’s plastic bag free achievements.
